In loving memory of Maya, our first and most beloved Bernese Mountain Dog at Bernewa’s. Maya was the epitome of loyalty, a true companion who embraced life with joy and vigor. Her love for travel and unwavering devotion made every moment with her a cherished memory. A champion in the show ring, she dazzled us all with her standard qualities and flawless movement. As a mother, she blessed us with 17 beautiful puppies. Maya was also our first veteran and veteran champion. Maya’s Italian spirit, boundless love, and steadfast loyalty made our journey with her nothing short of extraordinary. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

SK CH * JCH YOGI MACO z Gemerskej Polomy

In loving memory of Yogi, our first male Bernese Mountain Dog at Bernewa’s that came from the Z Gemerskej Polomy kennel. Yogi was more than just a dog—he was our loyal, joyful companion who brought warmth to every day. He adored life, whether it was going on walks, joining obedience training, or just being close to his pack girls. Yogi had that perfect Bernese character, winning hearts at shows and becoming a proud father to two beautiful litters, I and J. His love for us was as strong as ours for him.
Tragically, on a hot summer day 2021, Yogi’s heart couldn’t bear the heat, and he left us far too soon. In his final moments, he was surrounded by his pack and wrapped in our love. Yogi’s spirit will forever be a part of us, and his memory will always be cherished in his offsprings. We miss him deeply, believe us.
